mBank continuously carries out activities aimed at attracting the best talent on the market. We focus on candidates from both of the two most important hubs – Warsaw and Łódź, as well as from all over Poland. The specific nature of work in mBank’s individual branches means that EB activities are also diversified – depending on the needs of particular groups.
On the market, we compete with the largest banks in Poland, but not only with them – our competitors also include companies in consulting, IT, financial and legal institutions, as well as, for example, call center companies.

The year 2023 was a breakthrough for us – we created a new employer branding strategy, whose assumptions we continue to implement to this day. A major impetus for its creation was the new mBank Group strategy for 2021-2025, one of whose areas concerned employees and organizational culture.

When designing the EB strategy, we set 25 clearly defined goals to achieve—both overarching ones (related to brand image and recruitment) and more specific ones tailored to the needs of each mBank division.

  • The KV is based on a photo session featuring mBank employees from all over Poland.

  • The most well-known mBank buildings (here, for example, the Tower in Warsaw) are gradually filled with people who make up mBank.

  • We selected a variety of photos for the collage, emphasizing the new EVP of the organization with their tone.

In developing the EB strategy, we utilized:

  • analysis of external reports

  • analysis of mBank's existing EB communication

  • a range of own and commissioned reports (positioning in relation to competitors)

  • quantitative research PulseCheck, CandidateExperience, ExitInterviews

  • results of qualitative research with employees at various organizational levels, aimed at mapping the actual strengths of the organization and each division, and gaining valuable information for building EVP and proof points

  • results of focus groups, comprised of individuals specializing in D&I aspects

  • mBank's new business strategy for the years 2021–2025
