mBank continually undertakes efforts aimed at attracting the best talents in the market. We focus on candidates from the two major hubs – Warsaw and Łódź, but also from all over Poland. The nature of work in various mBank branches means that EB activities are also diversified according to the needs of different groups.
We compete in the market with the largest banks in Poland, but not only that – our competition also includes consulting firms, IT companies, financial institutions, law firms, and, for example, call center companies.

The year 2023 was groundbreaking for us – we created a new EB strategy, the assumptions of which we are still implementing today. A significant impetus for its creation was the new mBank Group strategy for 2021-2025, one area of which focused on employees and organizational culture.

In designing the strategy, we set 25 clearly defined objectives to achieve—both umbrella (image and recruitment) and specific—tailored to the needs of each division of mBank.

  • The KV is based on a photo session featuring mBank employees from all over Poland.

  • The most well-known mBank buildings (here, for example, the Tower in Warsaw) are gradually filled with people who make up mBank.

  • We selected a variety of photos for the collage, emphasizing the new EVP of the organization with their tone.

PROCESS

In developing the EB strategy, we utilized:

  • analysis of external reports

  • analysis of mBank's existing EB communication

  • a range of own and commissioned reports (positioning in relation to competitors)

  • quantitative research PulseCheck, CandidateExperience, ExitInterviews

  • results of qualitative research with employees at various organizational levels, aimed at mapping the actual strengths of the organization and each division, and gaining valuable information for building EVP and proof points

  • results of focus groups, comprised of individuals specializing in D&I aspects

  • mBank's new business strategy for the years 2021–2025
